Our favourite LGBTQ+ friendly hotels in the Lakes
All hotels should be equally hospitable places, for all guests. But proclaiming an LGBTQIA+ welcome on their sleeve ensures you’ll feel relaxed and welcomed beyond the shadow of a disbelief, and that’s really essential for kicking off any holiday in a relaxing way! Below we’ve collated a list of some of our favourite self-proclaimed LGBTQ+-friendly hotels across the Lake District.
Cranleigh Boutique
Look no further than Bowness-on-Windermere’s Cranleigh Boutique for a special occasion sprinkled with glam. With accommodation across three other sites the Hideaway, the Church Suites and the main hotel, the Cranleigh name stands for plush, luxe aesthetics, quality touches, and a authentic welcome.

The Best Lesbian Lake District Itinerary
– 3 Days of Adventure!
3 days in the lesbian Lake District might not seem like a lot of period. But if you plan that moment wisely, you can still achieve a lot during your trip. In this guide, I divide our own tried & tested Lake District itinerary, including things to undertake , where to feast, and the finest places to stay!
Our recent trip to the Lake District was our first time visiting. It was somewhere that had always been on our radar, but we’d never made it a priority. To be honest, we didn’t realise quite how magnificent it is.
The lakes have everything that we adore about a place. Idyllic lakes, quaint countryside villages, and adventurous hikes up into the mountains.
This 3 day Lake District itinerary combines a bit of all those things. It’s ideal for couples, solo travellers, first-time visitors, and anybody else who wants to use a long weekend in the Lake District.
