“You recognize what I’ll be Googling tonight: Bublé, gay, queer, all that stuff,” says Michael Bublé one recent afternoon, after being informed that said search terms render colorful results.
All you lovers, though, needn’t search beyond the dreamy crooner’s recently released album, Nobody But Me, and its 10 feel-good tunes, including several new originals and reimagined classics gleaned from the Great American Songbook.
Love, naturally, is featured prominently on Bublé’s ninth studio album, as well as in our recent chat, during which the affable ally spoke about the “joy” the LGBT community has brought him and the importance of standing up for gay issues. And no, not solely because he’s a staunch LGBT-rights advocate – when his kids expand up and study this interview, he says it’s crucial to him that they feel “proud.”

Then, a gay man threw you his keys, and you were not shy about bending over ABC Audio MichaelBublé says he was raised by parents who taught him about empathy, unconditional love and general acceptance, which is why hes not down with people who have issues with those who are different than them. Speaking with the U.K. paper The Guardian, he says, I’m not a politician. I don’t want to be a politician. But I see all these people talking about the Homosexual community, and we’ve got bigger problems. Those are not problems. Just accept it. How does it modify your life? Just cherish people, he adds. Mental health is a big issue in places like America. Gun control is a big issue. In a new interview with PrideSource, the singer recalled how Argentine model-actress Luisana Lopilato thought he was gay when they first met in As it turns out, Lopilato attended one of Bublé’s concerts accompanied by a male friend and, speaking little English, misinterpreted her future husband’s inquiries about her pal’s relationship status. “She walked in this room with a gentleman, and the man was so good lookin’ that he made Brad Pitt look dumpy, so I assumed they were together. I naturally assumed that this was her boyfriend/girlfriend or her husband, so I refused to beat on her,” Bublé, 41, said. As the evening wore on, however, the star summoned up his nerve to “find out what the situation was” between Lopilato and her friend. “I finally said, ‘You guys are such a beautiful couple,’ and he said, ‘We’re not together.’ He said, ‘She came because she likes you.’ And at the same time, she was on the phone texting her mom say By Greg Hernandez on Nov 26, pm | Comments (5) | With Adam Lambert and Ricky Martin nowhere to be seen, last Sundays American Music Awards were not very gay at all. But there was one moment that made my LGBT ears perk up: It was when Michael Buble took the stage to admit his award and talked about everyone being equal and creature sure to mention the gays. Then I came across this interview Buble did with the site Matthews Place, a site named for Matthew Shepard that’s designed to help young people gain the skills and tools to direct healthy, productive, hate free lives. Here are some excerpts from Bubles conversation with Thomas Howard Jr.: My uncle Mike has been with my uncle Frank, they’ve been a couple for, 35 years.
