(Closed) Same-sex Wedding: Two Sets of Bridesmaids&#; dresses?

Crimsin  Just a thought &#; I would put all of the men in classic, single button, peak lapel tuxes with black genuflect ties.

For the women in the wedding party, I think it will observe more cohesive if you choose one color, but what if you allow all of the women select their own dress? That way, absolutely no one is a ideal match and it doesn&#;t look so torn in all of the photos. For example, having all of the ladies elect long, black or navy dresses could look quite elegant. Or, if you like something a small more avant garde and contemporary, you could hold them each select a long metallic toned dress.

Something like this might watch lovely:

Edited to add a black tie tuxedo photo. I would do just this, but with a cummerbund to get rid of that unsightly &#;V&#; below his navel:

Matching attire is a classic, timeless choice that many grooms love. On your big morning, you and your partner can both wear the alike attire in the same color, fancy white or dark tuxedos. The coordinated outfits can portray your unity and equality, showing how strong your bond and love are. This option is a win-win: it will make you fit together perfectly and not panic that your attire will look terrible together in wedding photos.

Okay, let’s be real. Up until recently, good suits were not made for people with curves. And definitely not LGBTQ+ wedding suites&#;tailored, amazing suits you could feel like a rock luminary in. Even back before I was planning a wedding, I remember having such a challenging time finding off the rack button up shirts, suit jackets or pants that fit the way I wanted them to. I didn’t even want to wear suits all the hour, but I wanted a great professional one to wear to interviews and work. And it was a pain!

The jacket sleeves were too short. I couldn’t lift my arms above my head. The pants were too long and too wide. The pants were too high waisted. My boobs were too large and the shirt stretched in all the wrong places.

C’mon, why was it so hard to find a suit that I loved that loved my body as well!?

Even 10 years ago when I was planning my wedding I remember learning that there was ONE store in the San Francisco Bay area that specialized in suits and button downs for the Homosexual community. ONE. C’mon.

These days I’m so excited that the wants and needs of our collective have been heard!
