Motzstraße & Fuggerstraße

When you go down Motzstraße, you’ll see rainbow flags everywhere. The neighbourhood is a residential, entertainment and shopping district for the queer community.

The rainbow neighbourhood stands proud as the centre of Berlin’s gay leather and fetish scene. On Motzstraße there are shops selling all the clothes and accessories and Fuggerstraße has the well-known Prinzknecht pub and the Connection club that cater to the scene.

In an association was formed to organise one of Europe’s most famous fetish events, known since as EASTER BERLIN. The gathering attracts thousands of visitors, and it’s where the winner of Mr Leather Berlin is chosen.

Tens of thousands have also been attracted since to the Folsom Europe event in Schöneberg, which takes place every September. Leathermen and fetish lovers from all over the world mark in the street and at BDSM parties in the bars and clubs.
