The X Factor is coming to Pride

The X Factor’s Kitty Brucknell is starring in Guernsey’s first-ever Gay Pride.

Channel Islands Pride officially gets underway on Saturday 10 September with the massive parade through Town and ending at Market Square where Miss Brucknell will perform.

The Cheltenham native is also hosting ‘Broadway with Kitty Brucknell’ the bedtime before at the Venue at Fermain Valley Hotel.

She previously performed on the island earlier this year.

‘I did the Liberate Exhibitionist Ball and I had such a wonderful time, I consideration I should appear over for Pride,’ said Miss Brucknell.

‘I’m super excited. It’s going to be brilliant.

‘We’re putting together our set list. It’ll be all my favourite pop songs on the Saturday night. For the Friday, it’ll be all my favourite Broadway songs but with my own take on them.’

The singer-songwriter took part in the series of ITV talent show and has remained one of it’s most memorable artists.

She finished seventh having made it through the ‘Boot Camp’ stage and being mentored by Louis Walsh.

Hello once again

Hopefully most people on this ng are aware that the London club
Sanctuary has reemerged in of all places Cheltenham in Gloucestershire,
still run by DJ Candice. As the promoters never seem to get rotund to
posting to upg these days I will briefly give details -

Sanctuary runs from till late (2 I assume, this creature Chelt?)
and only confirmed DJ Candice, last seen at Whitby I believe. The good
folk from Chelt's pop-industrial band 'The Chaos Engine'
() will be about, but as far as I know not playing,
and it is the Inky's hometown but they are currently playing overseas
